Why, the March Arts Marathon!
March can be muddy or snowy, warm or cold, but the March Arts Marathon (MAM) guarantees that it will be full of creative works of all kinds. Jenn and Adam, MAM organizers, have been recruiting creators from around the area for this annual CVRAN fundraiser. Now it’s time to find sponsor/donors and THAT MEANS YOU AND ME!
By signing up to sponsor artists and donate to CVRAN, you will receive their particular works directly through an electronic medium (email, Facebook, blog….). Artists will be creating and sharing up to 6 days a week through the ENTIRE month of March. CVRAN will receive some of the funds needed to help refugees and immigrants here in central Vermont.

More than 50 artists and artist teams have signed up so far, so you have a lot of choices. Maybe music is your preferred mud season antidote – check out Alice, Lee, Julie, Heather and Dara (aka Vermont Northern Lights) for community singing. Perhaps you like variety – Jenn and Adam will be painting, throwing pottery, creating jewelry, or maybe woodworking. There are painters (Nancy and Brian to share but a few). Some want to spread a little joy during a sometimes gloomy time of year (David, Team Indivisible Waitsfield, and others). Many, many choices of creativity to enjoy!
We all hope you’ll join us for the 2026 March Arts Marathon. You’ll get frequent doses of a creator’s work during the entire month and support new members of the central Vermont community at the same time. Thank You!
