Local Actions Push Back Against Federal Anti-immigrant Stance
The impacts of the Big Beautiful Bill and other decisions at the state/federal level are being felt by Vermonters, including Afghan families assisted by CVRAN. Several of our families are loosing SNAP food benefits and must figure out alternate ways to get some of their food. One of those is the Just Basics food Pantry in Montpelier. Bear Pond Books is hosting a food drive for Just Basics starting today and running through Saturday October 26. Your non-perishable food items will be greatly appreciated!
