Recruiting for the 2024 March Arts Marathon!
We’re looking for artists who want to help asylum seekers and refugees!
Central Vermont Refugee Action Network (CVRAN) is inviting painters, writers, poets, musicians, fabric and multimedia artists, sculptors, and photographers to join our fourth annual March Arts Marathon, a fundraiser for the many asylum seekers and Afghan refugees we are supporting in Central Vermont. Every artist participating in the 2024 Arts Marathon will commit to inviting friends, family, and neighbors to sponsor their artwork by making a one-time contribution to CVRAN via the CVRAN website. Six days each week in March the artist will produce creative work, sending their sponsors copies/images over email, Instagram or in a blog.
All money raised will help CVRAN assist with housing, living expenses, legal fees and other expenses for the asylum seekers and refugees now living in our local communities.
