March Arts Marathon Participant: Elona McNeil
Mission: I’m planning on taking an original picture (ex: cereal box or photo) and adding illustrations on top of it to add personality/humor (ex: cats taking over Stonehenge).
Message: The March Arts Marathon is a fundraiser to support asylum seekers and refugee families with things like housing, living expenses, and legal fees as they come to Central Vermont.
For six days a week in March, artists will each send a copy of their daily work to their sponsors, who will be donating to support their work. As a community, we can work together to help welcome new Americans here, who in turn will add immeasurably to our own communities.
