March Arts Marathon Participant: Jess Taylor
Mission: My plan this month is to create a finished piece. I generally just do quick sketching/journaling etc., so it will be fun to document a work in progress. I will definitely add in other bits when time or mood calls! Thanks for supporting CVRAN. No need to say this is a crucial year. Be well, J.
Message: The March Arts Marathon has long been the backbone of CVRAN fundraising. Sponsors like you will be assisting with housing, living expenses, and legal fees for asylum seeker and refugee families as they come to Central Vermont.
The March Arts Marathon is a community effort. For six days each week in March poets, writers, painters, photographers, fabric artists, collage and multimedia artists will each send a copy of their daily work to friends and family. And friends and family will donate to support this work. Together we will be helping to welcome new Americans, who in turn will add immeasurably to our own communities.
