Call To Create A Vermont Office Of New Americans

Our friends at the Vermont Asylum Assistance Project (VAAP) let us know that the Senate Committee on Government Operations will be receiving testimony on and holding a first reading of S.56 – An Act relating to creating an Office of New Americans – this Tuesday March 11.

VAAP is inviting everyone to make a sign and join them at the Statehouse Tuesday afternoon to show support for immigrants and getting more state leadership on immigration services.
