Looking For March Arts Marathon Artists!

PLEASE share this post with artists, writers, and creators you know! The Marathon is our main fundraiser, helping us help new Vermonters.
Are you an artist, creator, or a writer? Do you know someone who is? The Central Vermont Refugee Action Network (CVRAN) invites painters, writers, poets, musicians, fabric and multimedia artists, sculptors, and photographers to join our annual March Arts Marathon, a fundraiser for the many asylum seekers and Afghan refugees we are supporting in Central Vermont. Participants invite friends, family, and neighbors to sponsor their work via their individual fundraising page on the CVRAN website.
The marathon is now six days a week, not seven. Something new this year is that we’ll also have teams of participants. Up to four people can form a team around an organizing principle, come up with a name for their team, and work together in any way they want.
It is a little work – no doubt about that – but participating artists and writers love the deep dive into their medium, the chance to share their pieces as well as their thoughts while they create, and the opportunity to help new members of the Central Vermont community.
“I’m so proud to have been a part of the March Arts Marathon. It does so many valuable things all in one package — raising greatly-needed funds to help support refugees in our community AND bringing together artists with people who want to know about what they do and how they do it! That’s brilliant and magical, and for me it’s been fun and exhausting. I’m looking forward to it again.” Janet Van Fleet, artist.

We hope you’ll consider becoming a part of the 2025 March Arts Marathon. To learn more, visit our Marathon webpages:
