Sad And Happy News

Dear CVRAN Community,

Sad and happy news: this month, we will be losing our wonderful half-time Coordinator of Services for Spanish Speakers, plus Volunteer Coordinator, Liza Earle-Centers.  CVRAN’s loss will be Central Vermont Adult Education’s gain.  We know her many skills will be an asset for them, but how we will miss her! Please read her words below, and join us in wishing Liza good fortune ahead!

I want to let you all know that I am leaving my work with CVRAN on August 9th. I will begin full-time work in the role of Montpelier Teacher / Community Coordinator for Central VT Adult Education. Primarily, I will be teaching English to new Vermonters as well as supporting local CVAE volunteers who offer English instruction. I’m grateful that I will get to continue to see some of our CVRAN partners in that capacity! It has been a privilege to work alongside the four CVRAN families I’ve been assigned to. Thank you to the many generous volunteers for all the support and mentoring you’ve offered me–the shared laughter and at times tears, too. I’ve learned so much and feel very moved and transformed by the experiences of the past year and a half. I will miss you and hope to see you around town.  – Liza

Note: we are glad to announce that AnnaRose Jenisch, our other services coordinator, will be able to take on the role of Volunteer Coordinator along with her other work.
