Wanted: Coordinator of Direct Services for CVRAN
Are you looking for a fulfilling employment opportunity to make a direct, positive impact on people’s lives? The Central Vermont Refugee Action Network is a non-profit organization based in Montpelier dedicated to making our communities welcoming, safe places for refugees, asylum seekers, and migrant workers. Based on the success of our recent efforts, we are hiring a second Coordinator of Direct Services. We are seeking an individual who can coordinate several volunteer teams working with our new neighbors/guests to help organize transportation, childcare, meetings with schools, medical clinics, legal assistance, and various other needs. As time allows, the job may include work with other aspects of the CVRAN organization. Spanish or other language fluency is a plus. The Direct Services Coordinator will work directly with our new neighbors/guests in their homes or in public places, along with the teams of volunteers. Other duties can be performed remotely unless attending meetings, etc.
The position is 20 hrs/week to start, with the possibility of expansion. Hours are flexible. Salary range is $24-$28/hr.
