Mission: One small watercolor / mixed media still life every day, posted to my website https://www.glencoburnhutcheson.com and instagram account @glencoburnhutcheson.
Each painting is made in 20 minutes from loose arrangements of objects taking refuge in my studio. For this Refugee Action Marathon, I won’t cull any paintings no matter how they turn out. Please follow along on instagram, and donate to the Central Vermont Refugee Action Network if you can. Here’s what CVRAN has to say:
“The March Arts Marathon is the backbone of CVRAN fundraising. Sponsors like you will be assisting with housing, living expenses, and legal fees for asylum seeker and Afghan refugee families as they come to Central Vermont.
“The March Arts Marathon is a community effort. For six days each week in March poets, writers, painters, photographers, fabric artists, collage and multimedia artists will each send a copy of their daily work to friends and family. And friends and family will donate to support this work. Together we will be helping to welcome new Americans, who in turn will add immeasurably to our own communities.”
